  • ½ cup Melted Butter or Oil can use vegetable oil or coconut oil
  • ¾ cup Granulated Sugar can substitute with brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar light or dark works well
  • 2 large Eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • cups All-Purpose Flour spooned and leveled
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon optional
  • ¾ cup Walnuts chopped, or substitute with chocolate chips

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash 3-4 very ripe bananas until relatively smooth and aim for about 1½ cups.
  3. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and optional cinnamon.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients into wet mixture and mix gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips into the batter.
  7. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  8. Bake for 55-65 minutes, checking for doneness at the 55-minute mark.
  9. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
