  • 1 cup rice uncooked
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with juices
  • 2 cups broth or water
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper to taste
Vegetables
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup bell peppers chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather all ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté sliced Cajun sausage for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add chopped onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. Fold in the uncooked rice, then pour in diced tomatoes and broth/water.
  5. Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, let it rest for 5 minutes, fluff the rice with a fork, and serve.
