  4. Add pasta to the boiling mixture and cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Fold in fresh spinach and allow it to wilt for 2-3 minutes. Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast until creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
