- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish generously with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, honey, buttermilk, and eggs. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Whisk until well mixed.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding them together. Do not overmix.
