  • 4 cups Cooked Chicken shredded or diced, rotisserie chicken preferred
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup can swap for cream of mushroom or celery
  • 1 cup Sour Cream can substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Frozen Mixed Vegetables e.g., peas, carrots, and corn
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • to taste teaspoon Salt
  • to taste teaspoon Pepper
For the Biscuit Topping
  • 2 cans Refrigerated Biscuit Dough cut into quarters
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese cheddar or a blend with mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut the refrigerated biscuit dough into quarters and arrange them on a plate.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk. Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Gently fold in the quartered biscuits until they are well-coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  7. Allow the casserole to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
