Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by washing your apples thoroughly to remove any dirt. Carefully slice them into ¼-inch rings, ensuring you remove the core from each ring.
- After slicing the apples, use a clean kitchen towel or paper towels to pat them dry.
- Next, create a dipping station by arranging three shallow bowls: one with all-purpose flour, the second with a beaten egg and milk, and the third with breadcrumbs combined with cinnamon and sugar.
- Dip each apple ring into the flour mixture, then into the egg wash, and finally press it into the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, arrange the coated rings in a single layer, and cook for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once cooked, let the rings rest for a minute before serving warm, optionally sprinkling with powdered sugar or drizzling with honey.

Notes
Ensure the coating is moist but not soggy for maximum crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
