Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika, and a pinch of black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Carefully remove the jalapeño pickles from their jar and pat them dry. Fill each pickle with the cheese mixture, leaving some space at the ends.
  3. Wrap each stuffed pickle with half a slice of thick-cut bacon. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs. Dredge each pickle in flour, dip in egg, and roll in crumbs.
  5. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the pickles in small batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
