Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Separate the drumettes from the wingettes.
  2. Drizzle wings lightly with olive oil and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat and let marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the seasoned wings in the fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Air fry the wings for 5 minutes, flip them skin side down, and cook for an additional 8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Mix Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, cayenne powder, and a pinch of salt. Reserve some for glazing later.
  6. Add apple cider vinegar and honey to the remaining mustard mixture and stir until combined.
  7. Remove wings, brush with the mustard-oil mixture, and air fry for 5 more minutes to glaze.
  8. Toss wingettes in honey mustard sauce and air fry for an additional 2 minutes. Ensure drumettes reach 165°F (74°C).
  9. Serve hot with remaining dipping sauce. Optionally garnish with parsley or sesame seeds.
