Cookie Preparation
- Beat the softened unsalted butter in a large mixing bowl for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth and well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Add the vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll the chilled dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1 cm thickness.
- Cut out shapes using cookie cutters and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 320°F (160°C) and bake cookies for 5-8 minutes.
- Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
