Method
 

Cookie Preparation
  1. Beat the softened unsalted butter in a large mixing bowl for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Add the vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  7. Roll the chilled dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1 cm thickness.
  8. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Preheat oven to 320°F (160°C) and bake cookies for 5-8 minutes.
  10. Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
