Preparation Steps
- In a small bowl, dissolve 2 tablespoons of instant coffee granules in 1 cup of hot water. Stir until fully dissolved and set aside to cool.
- Crush half of the Oreo cookies (about 12) in a zip-top bag. Layer half of the crushed cookies evenly at the bottom of your serving dish.
- Beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, along with ¼ cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of powdered sugar, on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 1 package of instant chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of whole milk for about 2 minutes until thickened.
- Fold the cream cheese mixture into the thickened chocolate pudding until no white streaks remain. Stir in the cooled coffee mixture.
- Gently fold 8 ounces of whipped topping into the combined pudding and cream cheese mixture.
- Spoon the pudding mixture over the layer of crushed Oreos in your serving dish. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Slice your Mocha Oreo Dirt Cake and enjoy the layers of creamy pudding, crunchy Oreos, and rich mocha flavors.
