Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder, then stir in the baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the water, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and gently fold them together until no dry flour remains.
- Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the surface.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment and cooling completely on a wire rack.
