Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash 1 cup of strawberries under cold water, pat dry, remove stems, and slice them into 1/4 inch pieces.
  2. Select your preferred sliced bread and lay out two slices on a cutting board.
  3. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese or whipped cream on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place the strawberry slices on top of the cream-covered side of one slice of bread.
  5. Drizzle honey or sprinkle powdered sugar over the strawberries if desired.
  6. Place the second slice of bread on top, cream side down, and gently press together.
  7. Slice the assembled sandwich into halves or quarters and serve.
