Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add melted unsalted butter to the mashed bananas and mix. Then incorporate the egg, sugars, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt.
  4. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gently fold until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool in the pan for 30 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
