Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Start by placing the brie cheese in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out one thawed puff pastry sheet and slice it into 12 equal squares, approximately 3 inches each.
  3. Generously spray a muffin tin with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  4. Press each pastry square into the muffin cup, ensuring the edges rise above the rim.
  5. Slice the cooled brie into 24 small pieces and place one in each pastry cup.
  6. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of each piece of brie.
  7. Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts over the cranberry sauce if desired.
  8. Bake for 11-13 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the brie is bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.
