For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
For Creaminess
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream/Half-and-Half Can be omitted for a lighter dish.
For the Dumplings
  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough Cut into quarters.

Prep and Cook
  1. Gather your ingredients. Place boneless chicken into the slow cooker, followed by diced onion, sliced carrots, sliced celery, and minced garlic. Season with thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pour chicken broth over the prepared ingredients, ensuring everything is covered for moisture.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set to low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken and return it to the slow cooker.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and distribute biscuit dough over the chicken mixture.
  6. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30-45 minutes until dumplings are fluffy.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve warm in bowls.
