Step-by-Step Instructions for Garbage Bread
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add the ground beef, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and stir in onions, bell peppers, and garlic; cook for 4-5 minutes until softened. Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, ketchup, and barbecue sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes then let cool slightly.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12x15 inches.
  4. Spread the cooled filling over the dough, leaving a small border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, then roll the dough tightly into a log shape.
  5. Place the log seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let the Garbage Bread cool for 5-10 minutes, then slice into 1-inch pieces. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
