Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large stock pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add trimmed green beans and cook for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside.
  2. Heat a sauté pan over medium heat, add slivered almonds and toast for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
  3. Add unsalted butter to the pan with toasted almonds. Once melted, stir in minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add boiled green beans to the pan along with salt and pepper. Toss for about 1 minute until heated through.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm.
