- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for 3 to 4 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips and chopped nuts if using.
- Mix the streusel topping ingredients in a small bowl until crumbly.
