- Spread butternut squash chunks in a single layer. Roast for 25–30 minutes until fork-tender.
- Mash the roasted squash in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.

- Shape the mixture into small log-shaped tots, about 1 to 1.5 inches in length.
