Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together almond milk, maple syrup (or honey), eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut mold approximately 3/4 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for about 15-18 minutes. They should spring back when pressed.
  7. Allow donuts to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
