  • 1 tbsp Dried Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Paprika or cayenne for heat

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, then add ground beef and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat, then add onion and garlic, sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Spread cooked beef evenly in the baking dish, then layer thinly sliced potatoes on top.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika evenly over potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan on top, then pour beef broth around the edges.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and potatoes are fork-tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and let cool slightly before serving.
