Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, prepare the boxed brownie mix according to package directions, adding in the required water, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until well blended and pour the mixture into a greased 9x9-inch baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool for at least 30 minutes.
- While the brownies are cooling, wash and slice ripe strawberries into bite-sized pieces.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and a splash of vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring until fully melted and glossy.
- Once the brownies have cooled, layer the chopped strawberries evenly across the top.
- Transfer melted chocolate into a ziplock bag, cutting a small corner to drizzle over the strawberries in a zigzag pattern.
- Refrigerate the brownies for 30 minutes to 1 hour to set the chocolate. Cut into squares and serve.
