Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the sliced kiwi and strawberries. Muddle the fruit to release their juices, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Pour freshly squeezed lemon juice over the muddled fruit, followed by the desired amount of simple syrup. Stir for 15-30 seconds.
  3. If desired, strain the mixture into a fresh glass filled with ice, using a fine mesh strainer.
  4. Gently pour a splash of soda water over the mixture in the glass and stir gently for about 10 seconds.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, optionally slapping them between your hands to release their aroma.
