Step-by-Step Instructions for Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of creamy peanut butter with ½ cup of softened salted butter. Blend until smooth and lump-free.
  2. Gradually mix in 2 cups of powdered sugar, adding it half a cup at a time. Continue to beat until fully incorporated, achieving a dough-like consistency.
  3. Scoop about one tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture and roll it into a ball. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and let truffles chill for 30 minutes.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, add 2 cups of chocolate melting wafers and heat in 30-second intervals until smooth and glossy.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Shake off excess chocolate and place back on the parchment sheet.
  7. If desired, sprinkle crushed peanuts or colorful sprinkles on top while the coating is still wet.
  8. Allow the chocolate coating to harden completely at room temperature or refrigerate for 15-20 minutes before serving.
