- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a loaf pan.
- Whisk together the eggs, sugar, oil, mashed bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla essence until smooth.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet ingredients.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
- Make the butterscotch syrup by combining brown sugar, butter, and heavy cream over medium heat.
- Cool the loaf briefly, pierce the top, and pour the hot syrup over it.
- Allow to cool for 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
