For the Butterscotch Syrup
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar Can substitute with coconut sugar.

  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Coconut cream can also be used.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, sugar, oil, mashed bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla essence until smooth.
  3. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet ingredients.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
  5. Make the butterscotch syrup by combining brown sugar, butter, and heavy cream over medium heat.
  6. Cool the loaf briefly, pierce the top, and pour the hot syrup over it.
  7. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
