- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the rice mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Place the boneless skinless chicken pieces over the rice mixture and press down slightly.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix on top and dot with butter if desired.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil, sealing all edges.
- Bake in the oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
