  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda make sure it’s fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour can be swapped with all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (optional) dark or semi-sweet

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a muffin tray with liners or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together peanut butter, mashed bananas, honey or maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips if desired, distributing evenly.
  6. Spoon the batter into the muffin tray, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, testing with a toothpick for doneness.
  8. Allow muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
