  2. In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add 2-3 cloves of minced garlic, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the zest and juice of one lemon into the skillet, cooking for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the drained linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Pour in some reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  5. Sprinkle in ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese, tossing the pasta until cheese melts and combines with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
