- Shred or dice the cooked chicken. If using raw chicken, sauté in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until cooked.
- Melt butter in the skillet. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking for 3–4 minutes until translucent.
- Pour in heavy cream and whisk to combine. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring for about 5 minutes until melted.
- Fold in shredded chicken and optional veggies. Stir for 2–3 minutes. Adjust consistency as needed with more cream.
- Toast sandwich buns in a separate pan until golden. Spoon the chicken mixture onto the buns, adding mozzarella if desired.
