Step-by-Step Instructions for Bang Bang Salmon
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or heat a skillet over medium-high for pan-searing or grilling. While the oven heats, pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, brush with olive oil, and season evenly with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- For baking, place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until done. For grilling, cook skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes. For pan-searing, cook skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip for 3-4 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar (or lime juice) until smooth. Taste and adjust heat or sweetness as desired.
- Once the salmon is done, serve on a plate, drizzling generously with the Bang Bang sauce. Optionally sprinkle with green onions or sesame seeds, and add lime wedges.
- Serve your Bang Bang Salmon immediately with sides like jasmine rice, salad, or roasted vegetables for a delightful meal.
