Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Bang Bang Salmon
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or heat a skillet over medium-high for pan-searing or grilling. While the oven heats, pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, brush with olive oil, and season evenly with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. For baking, place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until done. For grilling, cook skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes. For pan-searing, cook skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip for 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar (or lime juice) until smooth. Taste and adjust heat or sweetness as desired.
  4. Once the salmon is done, serve on a plate, drizzling generously with the Bang Bang sauce. Optionally sprinkle with green onions or sesame seeds, and add lime wedges.
  5. Serve your Bang Bang Salmon immediately with sides like jasmine rice, salad, or roasted vegetables for a delightful meal.
