Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.
- Blanch 10-12 napa cabbage leaves for about 2 minutes until tender.
- Combine ground chicken or pork, cooked jasmine rice, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar in a mixing bowl.
- Assemble the rolls by placing filling in the cabbage leaf and rolling tightly, placing seam side down in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, combine chicken broth, hoisin sauce, honey, and cornstarch, stir until simmering.
- Pour the sauce over the cabbage rolls and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let the rolls rest for about 5 minutes before serving and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
