  • 1 tablespoon Vegan Worcestershire Sauce Can substitute with vegan steak sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke Smoked paprika can be an alternative.
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Onion
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Fresh Cracked Pepper
For the Steaks
  • 4 Portobello Mushrooms Clean gently with a dry brush.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large shallow baking dish, whisk together balsamic vinegar, gluten-free tamari, grapeseed oil, vegan Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, minced garlic, granulated onion, salt, and fresh cracked pepper.
  2. Gently clean the portobello mushrooms with a dry brush, then add them to the marinade and let them sit for about 10-20 minutes, flipping halfway.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly brush with oil.
  4. Place marinated portobello mushrooms in the pan or on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Flip the mushrooms and cook for another 4-5 minutes until tender and charred.
  6. Serve immediately while hot, either alone or with sides.
