  • 2 medium Zucchini sliced into ½ inch strips
For the Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt adjust according to dietary needs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning or fresh herbs
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
For the Finish
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese or vegan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Basil or parsley

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to 450°F (medium-high heat) for at least 10–15 minutes.
  2. Wash and slice the zucchinis lengthwise into ½ inch thick strips.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Coat the zucchini strips in the honey-balsamic glaze and let them sit for a few moments.
  5. Place the zucchini strips directly onto the preheated grill for about 10 minutes.
  6. Flip the zucchini strips carefully and grill for an additional 3–4 minutes.
  7. Drizzle any remaining honey-balsamic glaze over the zucchini after removing from the grill.
  8. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chopped basil before serving.
