Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.
  2. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Mix together flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
  4. Whisk one egg, a splash of milk, and a pinch of salt and pepper in another dish.
  5. Coat chicken pieces in flour, then egg mixture, and back to flour for double coating.
  6. Fry the coated chicken in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Drain fried chicken on paper towels and season lightly with salt.
  8. Toss the chicken bites in sweet chili sauce until fully coated.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds, julienned carrots, and cilantro before serving.
