Step-by-Step Instructions for Sunshine Salad
  1. Prepare the fruits by cutting the pineapple into bite-sized pieces, draining the mandarin oranges while reserving the juice, and slicing the bananas into rounds.
  2. Combine the prepared fruits in a large mixing bowl and pour the reserved mandarin orange juice over them, mixing gently.
  3. Prepare the Jello by dissolving it in hot water according to package directions and allowing it to cool for about 5 minutes.
