For the Frosting

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the warm milk, active dry yeast, egg, melted butter, granulated sugar, and salt until combined.
  2. Add the all-purpose flour gradually until a dough forms. Knead for about 3 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon to create the filling.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling over it.
  6. Roll the dough tightly, slice into 8 pieces, and place in a greased baking pan.
  7. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix frosting ingredients until smooth and creamy, then spread over the warm rolls.
