  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper Adjust according to taste.
For the Hot Dogs
  • 8 pieces Hot dogs Any variety works (beef, turkey, chicken, or plant-based).
  • 8 pieces Hot dog buns Optional; toasting them adds texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of olive oil, ¼ cup of soy sauce, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper until fully combined.
  2. Add 8 hot dogs to the bowl with the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated on all sides, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375-400°F (190-200°C).
  4. After marinating, remove the hot dogs from the marinade, letting the excess drip off before placing them on the grill. Grill for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. If desired, place hot dog buns cut-side down on the grill during the last minute of cooking to toast them.
  6. Once grilled, assemble the hot dogs in the buns and load them up with your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.
