  4. Stir in 4 cups of sugar and the lemon juice. Boil for an additional minute until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Test the jelly’s consistency by placing a spoonful on a cold plate. If it wrinkles, it's set; if not, boil longer.
  6. Ladle the jelly into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Seal the jars and process according to canning protocols.
